I’m a Ph.D. student at Music and Audio Computing Lab (MACLab) at KAIST, advised by Prof. Juhan Nam. I work in Music Information Retrieval (MIR), focusing on the intersection of machine learning, signal processing, and human–computer interaction. Specifically, my research focuses on real-time music alignment (a.k.a. score following), performance analysis, and interactive computer systems for live performances. I design algorithms and systems that enable machines to listen to and interact with human performers in real-time. I also actively develop open-source tools and datasets for MIR(Music Information Retrieval) communities.
My research interests include:
Real-time music alignment and score following
Interactive performance systems and music HCI
Machine learning for audio and music
Open-source tools and datasets for MIR
